A few weeks ago Matt and I hosted a Crockpot + Cocktails party.
We invited some of our friends over and told them to bring a crockpot dish and we provided Fall cocktails.
Speaking from the beverage standpoint alone, the night was a knock out – pumpkin ales, apple cider, and Raspberry Tart all made apperances.
Our company and their crockpot classics were pretty great, too!
We finished off our night with the easiest crockpot dessert known to man.
Tart Apple Raspberry Sauce
- 2 diced Apples
- 1 c Raspberries
- 1 tbsp Tapioca
- 1 c Apple Cider
Note: If you are looking for something less tart add some brown sugar. If you are looking for something more crisp-like add oatmeal.
We served ours hot on top of some delicious vanilla ice cream. And since I burnt the crisp that was supposed to accompany the top, we subbed in some Kashi cereal.
