Each week I sit down to make the meal plan and grocery list for the week. And each week Matt & I have this conversation:
Kate “What would you like for meals this week?”
Matt “Whatever you want to make.”
Kate “Are you sure you haven’t been craving anything?”
Matt “Ya. I’m good.”
Until this week!
Matt requested something from a crock-pot, something comforting, and something involving meat.
So naturally that is what he got.
- 4 carrots
- ~1 pound stew meat or similar cut
- 4 servings/1 package of uncooked wild rice
- 1/2 an onion
- 2 c beef broth
- How to: Add all the ingredients to the crock-pot, set on low, walk away.
I’m all about celebrating fall by whipping out my crock-pot. Now, make sure no one tells him it only took me 5 minutes to make dinner.
