Swimming has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child I spent summer days freezing my butt off in the Atlantic Ocean, as a teenager my summers were spent lifeguarding at pools, and now as a soon to be college graduate I am looking for professional jobs as an Aquatic Director.

My hope is that some of these posts can motivate you to return the pool, incorporate swimming into your fitness routine, and continue to expand upon the lifelong skill that is swimming.

Note: Although I am a registered swim coach through USA Swimming & the Coaching Association of Iowa as well as a certified swim instructor through the American Red Cross, this information is to be used solely as suggestions. Like with any physical exercise it is important to listen to your  body on an individual basis and to talk to your doctor if concerns arise.
