I'm Alive!

I’m alive and I made it safe and sound to camp in Pennsylvania. I am working on figuring out how blogging will fit into my new, packed schedule but until then be assured that I am eating crazy camp food, getting in tons of hiking, and singing far too many camp songs!

    Dear Kate,
I love your blog. I’m glad that you arrived safely in Pa. It sounds like you are very busy.

We are in Ct. It has been a very busy week. We arrived last Sunday. Carol and Chris left for NH on Tuesday afternoon. They gave us specific instructions for getting Ryan to lacrosse and Max to soccer after school. We went to take them and realized that they had taken both sets of keys to the car. Luckily, they had only been gone 1/2 hour. Needless to say, they were both late to their games. Max(9) was upset that we told him to take a shower as he had taken 3 showers last week! We’ve gone to a Boy Scout Court of Honor, a Cub Scout picnic, went to Lyman Orchard, saw Shrek in 3D, went to a Lacrosse Tournament, and visited with friends and my great niece. Carol and Chris got home today. They had a wonderful time-did a lot of hiking, saw moose and bears. They want to go back with the boys sometime. We go back to Iowa on Wednesday and then have to recuperate.

  2. Have fun! I love camp – going to them, and working at them…hope you’re having a blast.

Glad you made it to camp.
If you get a chance, send me your mailing address so I can send you a care package.
